Minutes from last meeting passed out by RT
FFA soil Judging winner
--- a resolution passed to use $200.00 to continue rewarding the
winner Envirothon
soils winner --- A resolution passed to give the soils portion of the
Envirothon award. With money at the current levels we will continue support
for the SW Envirothon this year if they ask. NEW Business Committee Chairmen - Bryan posed the question of who and when do we appoint committee chairman, RT assured him it was for the new President to do ASAP after he takes office.
He also wondered about EC members also serving as committee chairs. After
discussion is was decided that if possible and to encourage more involvement we
wouldn't have any current EC as chairs. Action

Bryan will contact individuals about the different
chairs. He will see if Grant is interested in staying C&BL chair,
Tom, Harry, & Chuck have interest in Education, NE Mo soils instructor
reccomended by B Pauls. Proberauger newsletter. -- Ralph
presented the group with a outline of his plan for the newsletter, he has worked
with John Preston and asked him to perhaps serve as co-editor and write a
editorial for each newsletter.

With the money we can easily buy the jackets
and after reviewing the budget decided to provide a plaque to the school as
something to"put in the trophy case" Action
- Caryl will look into the plaque and order one.
We will give the winning school a plaque like the one
to be given to the soil judging winner and all of the team will recieve a Menfro
t-shirt

it was decided to produce one bi-yearly in the Spring and
Fall, topics and ideas were discussed. Action
- Ralph will send out his first version in Late April.
The idea of trying to do all of the planned things to give people different
options and different parts of the state to go to was decided. There will
be a get together at Bill's lake house (approx July 27th), a float trip (mid
June), and a baseball game (mid August) will all be held.
Action - After planning is completed Ralph
will put all 3 in the Probeauger.
