Membership Application
MAPSS offers three classes of membership:

  • AFFILIATE MEMBERS - those wishing to promote an understanding of soil science

  • ASSOCIATE MEMBERS - those meeting the full member requirements except for experience

  • FULL MEMBERS - those with a four-year degree and:
  • have at least 30 semester hours in the physical sciences; have 15 semester hours of soil science; and have at least two years of experience in the practice of soil science.

    OR

  • have at least four years of experience in the practice of soil science.

    Please send your college transcript and work history with your application and payment of dues.
